Flinging Giant

I have been unable to find a good creature to match a concept I have had for a while. The concept is a bipedal creature using the "Fling Enemey" feat from Savage Species. Is there any size huge giant-ish creature with improved grab already make somewhere? If not, here is what I have come up with:

Giant Freak
Huge Giant
Hit Dice: 7d10+49 (86 hp)
Initiative: +1 (Dex)
Speed: 60 ft.
AC: 21 (-2 size, +1 Dex, +12 natural)
Attacks: 2 claws +13 melee;
or rock +6 ranged
Damage: Claws 2d8+7;
or rock 2d8+7
Face/Reach: 10 ft. by 10 ft./15 ft.
Special Attacks: Rock throwing, improved grab, pounce
Special Qualities: Rock catching, scent, fast heal 3
Saves: Fort +13, Ref +3, Will +3
Abilities: Str 25, Dex 11, Con 25,
Int 6, Wis 12, Cha 6
Skills: Climb +11, Jump +11, Listen +10,
Spot +10
Feats: Power Attack, cleave
CR: 7

I cut down a cloud giant and added the feral template. Any problems? The key is the CR. I want to add two feats the creature with levels: combat reflexes and fling. But I want something that will stay below CR13.

That works nicely, but I would like to note that this thing is actually CR 8/EL 13.

You should check out the CR/EL thread for help on such matters, it works ten times better than the core rules. In fact, I'd say it'll become the standard in short order.

Is that the CR/EL system designed for epic and new creatures that showed up in a long rules debate a while back? No, thanks, I will stick with the basic CR system. Do you think this is CR 8 under basic CR?

No, I'm talking about UK's system, which is now designed for ALL creatures, not just epic creatures and new creatures. In addition, it is the only accurate system of rules, as has been proven time and again. You should check it out once more now that it is near completion (instead of using knowledge from the past which is now wholly inaccurate). I'm willing to bet you can't find a single inaccuracy!

Anyway, under the core rules, you're on your own, because the core rules are a crap shoot and I believe easily less than 10% accurate. I wouldn't let my worst enemy use the core rules, hahaha!

Yes, I mean't UK's system. I found it a cumbersome and unneeded change to basic CR/EL. I might check it out, but not for the moment.

Heh, hope you never make it past level 13 or use dragons, 'cause you'd be in for quite a rude awakening upon putting say an adult red dragon against a Level 14 party. (It's closer to CR 30 and a 50/50 challenge for such a party, whereas the book says that a party would certainly win using only 20% of their resources. Laughable at best.)

There are any number of creatures that have mis-calculated CRs. That is no reason to toss out the whole system. I can kill PCs of 6th level with goblins, or see 2nd level characters take out a giant. The guidelines are pretty good, and are simpler that UK's system.

Yup. I can brutally murder an entire 10th level party with a single kobold.
