FN Five-Seven - Light or not?

The Five-Seven (From Ultramodern Fireamrs) has the size of small in the stat lines (and it's quite light), but is mentioned under "large autoloaders" in the tables at the end and as large caliber at the feature index tables up front. So my question is: can you (with two-weapon fighting) take benefit of the small size and make attacks at -2 or do you take -4?

The weapon size is Small. Therefore, humans can use them as a light weapon.

So, yes, a Five-SeveN in your off hand in two-weapon fighting (with TWF feat) uses -2/-2 penalty.

OK, thanks, wasn't entirely sure, with it appearing under large autoloaders in the tables (and having the same firepower as a Desert Eagle).

It is a Small weapon, from a game mechanic standpoint, but it is towards the larger end of that scale. The Five-seveN really does blur the line between classifications, but I personally agree with the author's placement of the weapon.

Think of Dwarves in D&D, they are Medium-sized, but still short; Hope that helps.

(FYI, if your thinking of packing a Five-seveN, you should also look into the P-90 as an assault rifle. The fire the exact same bullet.)

You're going to have to ask Charles Ryan (on the Wizards' messageboard) the distinction between those headings "Large Autoloader," "Mid-size Autoloader," and "Pocket and Compactl Autoloader," etc.

My interpretation is the ammunition it uses. * shrugs shoulders *
