We gave the Followers avearge hit points per level, rounding up on odd levels and down on even levels.We made them using a straight 3d6 roll for each ability with no rearranging of stats. That makes you work with the Follower's abilities rather than creating the optimal set of NPC Followers.To properly equip a Follower that isn't all that much money. For a Warrior, you probably want him to have a Brestplate or Chain Mail, Large Steel Shield, Masterwork Weapon, Bow and maybe a Light Warhorse.
