So I faithfully play my monk all the way to 8th level...but after several game sessions of having enough xp I just cannot find the guy to defeat to kick me up to 9th level. The GM was rolling this as a random chance of locating him and the previously hot dice were no longer my friend. So I shock everyone by saying I'm going to dual class wizard. They groan again about how useless I will be for a long time. But levelling up to 9th level wizard went smoothly. And Monk, combined with Wizard, combined with Psionics...was just completely disgusting. I eventually retired the character as a mutual agreement with the GM, I'd played long enough by then to know how completely I had broken the game system within it's own rules. Cedric</blockquote>
