Does the Factotum friendly feat: "Font of Inspiration" (found on http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/frcc/20070606 which is a WOTC page if anything is) do what I think it does? Because it looks like the second time you take it, you are getting 2 inspiration points *in addition* to the 1 inspiration point you got the first time you take it, for a total of 3 inspiration points. Meaning that if you use 8 feats (and have a +8 int bonus to back that up), you will gain 36 extra inspiration points, for a total at level 20 of 46 inspiration points instead of 10). This would be on the "It works like Psionic Talent" reading of the feat. The "It works like Toughness" reading of the feat would have it be more modest, effectively giving you 1 more inspiration point every time you take it. But that is not how it is written, and it would have been easier to write it like that if that was what was intended. Maybe it was intentional to give the Factotums a boost? It increases some of their abilities, but not others (since some are limited by day as well as by encounter). It certainly reinforces INT as *the* "must improve at almost all costs" attribute for this class, as well as make the feat more attractive than most others I can think of, for Factotums.
