Food poisoning and those who saved me

Twin Rose

First Post
While I'm still working on my professional Gen Con thank you's, I wanna take a moment to give a personal thanks. See, I just got in this morning, so my professional one is still under way.

My personal one goes to Michael Morris and ArthurQ, from here. On the way to the airport, food poisoning set in on me .... It was one of the most awful experiences of my life - I won't get into the details, because they are fairly bad.

ArthurQ and Michael Morris were there for me, though. They helped me make sure my flight was rescheduled, as there was NO way I was getting on a plane like that. Michael, being a trucker, was able to find me a good motel and helped me make sure all of my stuff was together, that I was taken care of. If they hadn't been there for me, I shudder to think the agony I would have been, out on the street somewhere, where people would have mistaken me for a homeless drunk or taken advantage of me and taken all my stuff.

Thank you guys!

I also wanna thank Expeditious Retreat for the Magical medieval society. While that will be included in my professional thanks, I'll put it here because that book kept me company for several hours of agony and sweats - I needed something engrossing at that point, I tell you.

Thanks for saving my boss, guys, wow that was quite cool of you.

I hate food poisoning, so I can only imagine what it must have been like.

Well this is what the comradery of DnD should be about yeah?

Sincerely,

V

Having had food poisoning once, you aren't kidding. The experience was....disturbing to say the least.

I'm glad you are feeling better Twin Rose and kudos to Mr. Morris and ArthurQ for being there for another human being when he needed someone.

I can tell you, it was most definately one of the worst experiences of my life. Now I'm starting to wonder - I've heard of a few other people with similar experiences, and maybe the bad food could be pinned down .. if we're lucky.

Wow! MMS:WE treats illness! :) Glad to hear it gave you something to read while feeling bad. I've had food poisoning twice in my life: truely aweful.

I don't think it actually TREATED anything, but the book was excellent company since it kept me engrossed.

Believe me, I want users to VERY soon be able to set up charts and random generators within Campaign Suite using this stuff. *Wink wink, hint*

Wow, I had food poisoning too. Do you have any idea where you picked it up? I have a pretty good idea about mine...

I don't know, actually ... But feel free to share, I'm VERY curious.
