We've been invited to partner with them along with Steve Jackson Games, Cool Mini, Magic, Ettin's Board Game Library, Game On Cougars for vidya games, and some other stuff.</p><p></p><p>Nope, I'm not spamming you to GM. I'm only requesting your company. And donations for a good cause.</p><p>Taking up the fight against hunger, Gamers Unite to take a stand and raise both awareness and donations for a worthy cause. We take in donations for The Houston Food Bank and will soon partner with other community projects. Hope Ahead, Hunger Behind!</p><p>Our mission is to make a positive impact in our community through the acts of gaming.</p><p></p><p>If you would like to donate, there are two options:</p><p></p><p>Donate directly to the PayPal at <a href="mailto:FoodMachineHouston@gmail.com">FoodMachineHouston@gmail.com</a></p><p>Contact Mike Snorlax Ramirez to receive donation boxes for non-perishable foods.</p><p></p><p>FoodMachine is a game day benefiting Houston Food Bank on November 15th at the M.D. Anderson Library at University of Houston. We'll have:</p><p>the four latest Year of the Sky Key scenarios</p><p>the Silverhex Quests</p><p>Emerald Spire Superdungeon</p><p>requested scenarios</p><p></p><p>It's a full 12-hour day with a library-imposed hard limit. To make it work we'll need everyone on time and ready to go. "Gamer Standard Time" won't work for this one. GMs will be calling their own breaks at the table, as there won't be scheduled space between slots so we can get three slots in.</p><p></p><p>There will be Chick-Fil-A on hand in the kitchen area immediately next to our room. There's other food on campus that's a quick walk from where we are. I'll be running the one-hour quests, but at times the quests aren't going, I'm happy to make food runs as well.</p><p></p><p>Admission is free, but parking is not (unless you like walking, but I can't figure out where the free parking is, so I can't tell you if that's a good idea or not). It'll be between $3-$10, depending on where you park and what kind of deal FoodMachine is able to work out between now and then.</p><p></p><p>Donations to Houston Food Bank are greatly appreciated - that's the whole point of the game day.</p><p></p><p>If you're interested, this is mostly a Warmahordes Event.
