Ladies and Gentlemen of EN World,
For many, the holidays are a time to think of others, and maybe give a little of what we have to charity. If you're of a mind to do so, if I might make a suggestion....
In July of 2010, my wife will be taking part in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure, walking 60 miles to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.
To participate, she must raise donations. Her goal is $3000.
That sounds like a lot of money, and it is for one person. However, spread among many, it isn't so bad. I understand that times are tight, but it is in tight times when research funds get thin. And every little bit helps, even $10 or $5, because all the little things add up. Many of you may be able to take advantage of matching donations from your workplace as well.
So, please, if you've got even a little, and would like to add a bit to your karma, please consider donating.
