Why do I think that the XE release is better than the Beta's? The text fields (descriptions on all pages are not forced formatted. Where the sentence ends and a single word is on the next line.) The weapons information provides extra information (HEX , Off-Hand, kensei, among others) I would like to see Dueling included in the list, but ok. Spells provide extra information about which classes can use the spell. This has helped several newer players as they were looking for classes to match what they wanted to be. We have used Multiclass option to ensure that the character only sees the multiclass options that are available for that character. Different campaigns have enforced this. Most campaigns don't enforce this option. Availability to overwrite the Ki/Sorcerer/Other points, this has actually been handy during one session when the monk received additional Ki points from his Deity. Additional Backgrounds from Adventure League. Surprisingly, these are used more often that I would have imagined. The prodigy feat works without additional entry. Custom Feats available. Even though there are only 5 available, this has been enough for most campaigns. The CSI-CSV+ are a bit smaller, there is less overflow of fields. (This is related to the fixed formatting of the feats/features) This has a tendency to happen more at higher levels, but can happen at lower levels. Depending on what features the character has. This is also because many of the feats and features have fixed sentence length. The issues listed in this forum are not in the sheet as far as we have seen. At every session, the players validate each others sheets, to ensure that the character sheet does follow the AL guidelines. The only thing that I would really like to see is a limit to the BOOKS used by the character. That would save some time before we start. This is, of course, not an issue if you are not playing AL rules. The information from Xanathar has been in the sheet since last xmas. I can download the sheet at anytime. Although I usually get it from one of the players. I have only seen 2 or 3 updates this year. FA has provided an excellent platform to start from. I would actually like to see users provided with the ability to choose which sheet they would like to use. Three sheets would be better, but I don't know if there is a third option or not. I have yet to see it. This would provide better sheets for players and more chances to improve the quality of the sheets. There are probably other reasons as well, but these are mostly just "the look and feel" of the XE sheet, and the ease of reading the sheet. Good luck with the beta, I hope that it gets to be a real sheet someday :) But I will stick with the XE version, until I find a better sheet.
