Forgotten Archetypes #1: The Gunslinger PDF now available

Arcane Runes Press is proud to release its first pdf product, published in conjunction with Ronin Arts.

It is available for purchase at RPGNOW.com. The direct link is Here

This 20 page, $2.95 release offers a complete base class, the Gunslinger, which is perfect for use in any d20 fantasy campaign. The pdf includes a complete class progression, new feats designed specifically for the gunslinger, new equipement - including firearms - and a discussion of common gunslinger archetypes, and how to create them using d20 system rules.

Written by Patrick Younts, the gunslinger is the first release in the Forgotten Archetypes series, a line of products introducing new base classes for d20 fantasy gaming. Further releases in the series will include the Lord of the Seasons, the Gambler, the Living Weapon/Ninja, the Jester, the Courtier, The Adventurer, and the Time Mage.

This looks very nice.

I saw it in the RPGnow catalog and was immediately intrigued, especially seeing who the writer is.

I love Patrick Yount's work, and this line certainly appeals to me as a designer - not to mention I like reading 20 page PDFs more than 5-10 pagers any day.

Hey, is that a slam on my favorite type of work? :)

E-mail me, man. Been e-mailing you to get an update but have to wonder if the spam catcher has snared me.

Does Arcane Runes Press have a website? I've tried googling for one, but have drawn up a blank. It'd help with the news (although I've posted this now, and after I finish my other edits, it should appear on the front page).

Best,
Nick

I'm not sure if Patrick has a site up yet but please keep in mind Arcane Runes Press is published through Ronin Arts. That should help you a bit.

We look forward to working with Patrick for a long time to come.

As of right now, the website arpress has is actually www.the-summerlands.com, the website for our upcoming game of storybook adventures. Unfortunately, the provider is having "issues" and so the server is temporarily down. But as Phil said, all our pdf product will be published through Ronin Arts for as long as they're willing to have us - the opportunity to work with Phil, the reputation of Ronin Arts and the strength of its product lineup made the decision easy.

And Hellhound: thanks, that's really nice of you to say.

Patrick Y.

Phil - I like a lot of your work, but yeah, I'm still not a fan of the format of short PDFs.

Which is why compilation PDFs, like the Forbidden Arcana one you just released, are much more to my liking.
