Forgotten Realms and the Orcish Hordes

First Post
Hi, i currently have a 20th level half orc character who is going to attempt to unite the orcish hordes across the Forgotton Realms, starting with those near Zentinal (sp) Keep. Unfortunately i do not have the FR compendium and my DM is gone for a while, so i was wondering if anyone had any knowledge relating to the orcish history, and a good strategy in which to unite the hordes.

Any information (especially onthe history) is greatly appreciated :)

Further info about my character, he is a half orc / half dragon, 20th level divided between Dragon Disciple (red), Fighter, and Sorceror, and i am pretty well renown in Zentinal Keep for going thru the City of the Spider Queen, so i do have a starting foothold in the Keep itself, with slowly becoming a leader for the orcs there.

In terms of uniting, unite those orcs who follow Gruumsh and those orcs who follow Malar by declaring a war on the elves. Both gods have a huge enmity with the elves as a result of getting punked up by Corellon. For more details consult Elaine Cunningham's "Evermeet: Island of the Elves." It goes into decent detail as to why Gruumsh and Malar hate the elves and attempts (and failures) they've undergone both on Faerun and Arvandor. You may even be able to earn allies by recruiting followers of Lloth and Ghaunadar. Remember this: the best way to unite people is by having a common enemy.

Ohhh the number of chieftans i will have to slay... :D
Try to cripple them instead and have them healed if they swear allegiance to you.

The chieftain is likely one of the best fighters of a tribe so having them among your warriors is useful. Besides, you'll have to install officers anyway if you want to control your horde well so you might as well use ones who have already proven that they're fit to rule the tribe in question.
