On Tuesday, September 14, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone will be released for the Playstation 2. It is also being made for the PC and XBox, but those versions won't be out until November. I created this thread in advance for people to discuss the game. Personally, I'm really excited for it. The Two Towers console game was very fun and addictive, and had a very cinematic feel to it. Demon Stone is being made by the same company as the Two Towers, and looks like it will improve upon TTT's gameplay in nearly every way. Demon Stone is a third-person action game set in the Forgotten Realms. The game features a storyline written by R.A. Salvatore and voice acting by actors such as Patrick Stewart and Michael Clarke Duncan. The game is set in the Bloodstone Lands region of the Forgotten Realms, and you control three different characters: Rennek (a human fighter), Illius (a human sorcerer), and Zhai (a half-drow/half-wood elf rogue). The game allows you to switch between the different characters with the push of a button, and over time your characters will learn new attacks as well as gaining new weapons, armor, and other special equipment. The game may not be hitting shelves for two more days, but here are some articles to tide you over until then: Demon Stone Review at Game Informer Rennek Character Profile at Gamespy Illius Character Profile at Gamespy Zhai Character Profile at Gamespy R.A.
