Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas

Hey there.

So, I found this thing online... a complete interactive computer atlas for Forgotten Realms. Check out the link here.

The problem is that it's out of print. Does anyone know of a way I can get my paws on this lovely-looking piece of software, aside from hoping there is a dusty copy sitting on a forgotten shelf in some game store in australia?

welcome Murrdox :D

the link you put up mentions ProFantasy Software Ltd. and Amazon (but in limited supply)

do they deliver to australia?

edit - ProFantasy says they do via "London, UK by Air Mail"

Thank you for the welcome. ;)

I've checked the online stores, and although the site doesn't explicitly say so, Amazon lists it as out of print.

Wizards of the Coast also hosts the update patch for this software, although they also say that the title itself is out of print.

Oh, and I don't actually live in Australia. ;)

I have it; it's an extremely useful set of maps and even better if you have the whole CC2 suite. There are also maps to almost all the cities as well, most of them detailed, some of them just outlines of streets. Plus some fortresses, dungeons, etc.

The Interactive Atlas was based on 2nd Edition Forgotten Realms Maps (and put out prior to 3rd edition). With FR 3rd edition, the map of Faerun changed (geological features/towns disappeared, distances changed). And WotC has not bothered to address Kara-Tur/Zakhara/Maztica

I was able to purchase the Atlas about a year ago. Right before I did, it was listed as "out of stock" and than one day, it was there. Since than, it appears it has gone out of stock again.

Keep checking as one of two things is bound to happen:

1. They will get it back in stock or
2. They will update it to 3rd edition (or should I say 3.5 edition)
