It's not a roleplaying game. It's an arcade-style beat-em-up like the Two Towers video game was.

I don't mind, though. For a long time, I've been wondering why RPGs were the only games ever set in the Forgotten Realms. That setting could also easily be used for action games or strategy games.

You know, I don't mind hack-n-slash games at all. Sometimes its fun to just kill things without thinking about plot.
