Forked from Daybreak 2 - Battlestar Galactica I just saw this on video. Wow. I read some rumor sites on the Internet that were predicting a Lee Adama and Kara Thrace survival (a la Adam and Eve). I am glad this did not happen. As many said I love the first half. Lots of action and I honestly felt sorry for the Battlestar Galactica. It had protected them for so many years and it was nearly destroyed in the firefight. Most of the rest episode was anti-climatic. The opera house vision did not really end with any payoff for the viewer. The soldiers and civilians living on new Earth was a nice touch. I really didn't buy them giving up their tech toys so soon. You would keep them around as long as you possibly can. I did think it was nice the Centurions were allowed to leave and live on their own terms. Kara Thrace as angel, er what? Overall, I think the last few episodes could have been plotted out more. It seems like they had to end it quickly and couldn't figure it out, so they went for simple answers. I give the episode a C+ and the entire series a B+.
