So what happened to Rob Heinsoo, if Mike Mearls has his old job (lead designer of D&D)?

So what happened to Rob Heinsoo, if Mike Mearls has his old job (lead designer of D&D)?

Nothing in particular. A while back, they announced that he was stepping out of the lead position so he could spend less time doing managerial stuff and more time doing actual designing/writing.

My brother-in-law had a similar reshuffle happen when his department's budget was cut down. He had been the guy who managed the people who train the staff; he became one of the people who trains the staff.
