When the secret braintrust of Forum X was actually planning trolling excursions over here, they'd typically lay off as soon as there was a topic ban, only to reappear in full force as soon as it was lifted (enforcing the idea that, unless they're applied in perpetuity, such topic bans are useless). While, I don't see a lot of those same accounts (i.e., screen names) being used in this particular round of "My way is better!", the paranoiac in me thinks that many of the new and 'inactive until recently' accounts seemingly dedicated to spamming the forums with flamebait may simply be new masks for those same old trolls.
