Message: <blockquote data-quote="HeavenShallBurn" data-source="post: 4010979" data-attributes="member: 39593">I'm not taking anyone's side here except my own and I'm not jumping into anyone elses argument.  I just wanted to say that since the 4e announcement there has been a significant amount of animosity toward anti-4e opinions.  Now there has also been animosity toward pro-4e opinions.  But there is a certain fairly small group of posters that dogpiles anyone who questions whether 4e is an improvement.  For all that this is one of my favorite boards it's been enough to make me consider just not posting until the 4e fervor dies down.  There are times when it feels like that small group is trying to drive those more cautious or pessimistic off the site.  And it raises the spectre that those of us who stick with 3e won't be welcome here after 4e arrives.Personally I just don't like a lot of what I see out of 4e.  This doesn't mean I don't like D&D, it is my favorite hobby one that I've participated in for just over 20 years now.  What it does mean is that it's moving away from things which have defined it and I worry for the future of the game.</blockquote>
