Anyone remember Fantastic Worlds? Even though Lone Star was around, FW has a greater nostalgia for me. Its where I bought my first AD&D gear right when the DMG came out, and its still what I think of first when I think of classic gaming/comic stores.

Actually when I was a kid I use to go to Fantastic Worlds all the time. The guy who owned it is now the direct sales director for DC Comics and has been for quite some time.

As for the Wizards of the Coast store closing in Ft. Worth... I'll just keep my response to myself. ;)

Any of you guys near the Garland area? I'm looking for a Thurs night game to join.......

Oddly enough, I'm in a Thursday night game that needs a player, or was needing one last time we played a week and a half ago. Not too far from you, depending on what part of Garland you live in, near LBJ & Central Expressway. Shoot me an e-mail if you're interested (s.c.simmons@worldnet.att.net), and I'll put a bug in the DM's ear.

:D Thanks for the tip on the closing!:D

I went on Saturday and got nearly $700 worth of Master Maze sets for $250!!! Woo-hoo! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Their prices were already around 20-25% off the normal Master Maze prices, with the extra 50% off, I saved around 70-75%. Their going to only be open until Saturday, so hurry out there for what they've got left (tons of D&D and d20 products, board games, dice, etc.) They'll even sell you the Regdar statue for about $175 (if you wanted it for some reason...)
