Fortifacation

I've got a question on Fortifaction. If you have an Item that grants fortifcation and an ability/Soulmel that grants Fortafcation do you get to roll twice for the diffrent fortifacation
abilities? I know they are not additave as they are like bonuses.

Can someone help me out here.

The highest value of fortification takes precedence.

So if you've got two things that provide 25% fortification, you have .. 25% fortification. You only check once.

If you've got one thing that provides 25% fortification and a second that provides 50% fortification, you've got 50% fortification. Again, only checked once; if the 50% doesn't catch it, sorry charlie.
