On that count it can still work, but sadly, without counterbalancing negatives, and neutral battlefield effects, it misses out on what could have made this a great add-on product.Having said that, here is where I get to the eating of crow:With the monetary outlay for a full box of what Wizards is billing as "random, but not collectible" it seemed reasonable to believe one could get a full set of the 80 different cards, or at the least, to only miss a couple.Sadly I am missing a full one fifth, 20%, of the possible cards.For the record the missing ones are 6, 7, 13, 15, 22, 24, 33, 40, 47, 50, 53, 61, 66, 68, 70, and, 80.I have not checked to see if these are rare, uncommon, or common.Since I was looking at these as a DM tool, I suppose I may have gotten over enthusiastic, but as a longtime (since 1980) participant in this fine hobby is it too much to ask the publisher to throw me and others that support their products a bone and do something that doesn't screw us over, instead making money while providing good value and support for continued loyalty?I have already written to Wizards with my concerns and have no clue how they will react or if they really give a hoot.I will not tell anyone else to buy or not buy, I will merely offer up my experience for whatever it is worth to those that read this post.</blockquote>
