FR Adventure Idea

I've been posting in a couple of threads in General RPG and one thread deals with merging Dark Matter and Gamma World. This got me thinking about post apocalyptic settings and such and I thought of Escape from New York and the sequel Escape from LA as possible ideas for an adventure style theme. That's when an interesting idea came to me, applying it to D&D. Here's the gist of my adventure idea.

Escape from Wheloon

Your party, wrongly accused of a crime in Cormyr, is given the chance to earn its freedom by recovering a lost artifact, finding the artifact will be the easy part, getting it out of Wheloon on the other hand might not be as easy. Then there's the magical disease placed upon you by a War Wizard of the crown for incentive. You have five days to get in and get out. The adventure starts once you cross the wall.

You might get more response if you gave those of us who don't have the FRCG handy an idea of where Wheloon is and what's different about it.
 

Wheloon is located in Cormyr just down the road from the actual capital. . The Purple Dragons discovered that a large percentage of the city was worshipping Shar so by royal decree walled the entire city up. Now anyone found to be a worshipper of Shar or working with/for Nethril gets tossed in there as well as other criminal types.

What if the King of Cormyr ended up in Wheloon due to a deviated teleport-attempt?
 

I thought along those lines originally but the king is pretty isolated from the description. It seemed a better idea to have important information or an item inside the city.
