FR: Faiths & Pantheons?

How much value for money would a person who has the 2e God books get out of F&P? How good are the prestige classes therein?

My understanding Sul, (not being the man that has every FR book BUT does listen to those that have such things) is not a lot. You're probably better off sticking with what you got.

I'd stick with the 2E books, unless you have a need for god stats. Some of the prestige classes are decent, but overall the 2E books are more useful.

If you don't have much credits to spend, keep your old book.

Some of the background bits on the deities have been updated; most prestige classes are interesting (I'd like to play an elemental archon someday, just to hear the sycophantic fawning of my mephit underlings); it's good to have a Repose domain for clerics of Kelemvor or Jergal (much more appropriate than Death for them);
but that'll probably not be of critical use if you already own all three 2e books.

Furthermore, if like me you prefer to have no illos than poor illos, keep away from that book. I bought Deities & Demigods in order to have some well done divine pictures, F&P is just ughh 7 times out of 10.

I personally saw Faiths and Pantheons as a waste. For the major gods there is about 4-5 pages worth of information. However, one page is basically the Divine stat block (portfolios, worshippers, all that fun stuff) and a picture. The next 2-3 pages was just about a cut and paste job out of the FRCS. The next page is a little bit more information on the god and then the STAT block of the god. If you want your gods stat blocked (classes, abilities, cool weapon) then it's a great book. Otherwise I think the 2E books are wonderful! I ended up buying all of the 2E books after I got Faiths and PAntheons and they were MUCH more valuable in the end on describing the gods.
