[FR] memory loss drugs?

darkbard

Legend
am i just daft or is there a complete lack of information regarding memory loss drugs produced by the thayans despite the fact such a drug is mentioned as being integral to the arcane brotherhood's designs on subverting the citizenry of silverymoon in both the silver marches supplement and lords of darkness?

does anyone know where i can find such information or if it indeed exists? perhaps as a spell i've overlooked in my search? any help out there?

Sorry, but I am not much of a FR expert. I might suggest that if the folks here don't know, you might go to WOtC's boards. They have a couple of Faerun/FR specific boards where you may get an answer.

Hope this helps.

The information on the memory loss drug is in Lords of Darkness, which deals with the mainstream evil organizations of Faerun

The memory loss is a side effect of one of the drugs outlined in the book

afraid i'm going to have to agree with reiella: i see no mention of memory loss or rules for adjudicating such in the drugs of faerun section of lords of darkness.

Is this a troll? Or did you really forget about the stats of the memory loss drug? (I don't own any of the products in question, so I cannot confirm nor deny the existance of any AMNESIA DUST!).

once again: any actual help out there? why would the citizens of silverymoon buy a drug that causes memory loss? what's more, how many citizens could afford 500 gp per dose of a presumably recreational drug ... even at the cut-rate prices the arcane brotherhood's agents are offering it at (say, 300 gp per dose?)? the way the plot is outlined in both books, the brotherhood hopes to reduce morale in silverymoon by creating an addicted citizenry ... but where's the incentive to take a drug that wipes out one's memory?
