Fractal Mapper and GoblinAPI

Anybody out there ever use fractal mapper? It looks like it is pretty cool. What is this GoblinAPI that they have? It says you can create and run scripts with it but I was curious if anyone has ever utilized it and if so what kinds of things you can make with it. Thanks.

Im a big fan of Fractal Mapper. Have been since ver6(7 is out now). Its a great program. The goblin api is a scripting(vb like) language that works within the mapper to do specialized things. One of the easiest and coolest examples I like is the custon toolset you can make. For instance the city tool. You select city tool then start clicking on the map you are making(continent naturaly) and random city names start apearing. But thats not all, not only are the names random but town size, demihuman populations% listed for elves dwarves etc., rulers name, names of gods whos temples are in the town, weapon carry/law info, taverns, adventure hooks and such are all auto generated for the town. You can then edit any individual town info or open the scenario builder and have an html page of all towns listed along with map area pics and all the generated info ready to go in an instant gazetteer like page. And thats already set up in the program. You can modify it or add your own. Im still learning to do stuff with it, but thats to cool to me.

Check this program out. Its the easiest, fastest, full+ featured map program ive used for the money. Continents, Dungeons, Towns, Caverns etc. etc. etc. all a snap.

If you cant tell by now I love it. And NO I dont work for NBOS Software haha

Adventure Hooks:
Lady Azbáli Ertsa has taken an infatuation and wishes the daughter/son of a neighboring ruler to be 'theirs'.
It's rumored that just outside the city is an old dwarven gold mine.
One of the characters is mistaken for an infamous thief!


Azntezágszunt

Fees:All transactions within the city must be made with the city's official currency (Money changing fees will exist)
Weapon Laws: No official restrictions, but carrying arms and wearing armor while not on official town duty is not socially acceptable.

Azzavi's population likes to celebrate. Anything. Weddings, anniversaries, lunar events, you name it! Baroness Anézó T. Azhet III's compassion is well known. In fact, it might be too much. Those who bode ill for the city have in the past been given too much leeway to execute their schemes.

Adventure Hooks:
The city has been plagued by a group of bandits.


Nemgdíj

Adventure Hooks:
The characters are approached by Duchess Bílegolesért Hagyek with a job offer. Escort his/her daughter/son to a nearby city to attend a wedding.


Kige Eros

A beautiful women runs into the arms of the characters. She hopes he can help her escape a powerful man who wants to marry her.

Weapon Laws: Any man (or adventuring woman) not seen brandishing a wide array of weapons is considered a "sissy", and often beaten up by those who are carrying weapons.
