Gathering Information involves more than rolling a die and asking the DM what you find out. Learning new spells requires research, not just a new level. But where do players go to learn new things? With the upcoming Adventure Havens: Library Lore, players will have 12 new fantasy libraries to explore. Written by Mark Charke, Library Lore will provide twelve fantasy libraries full of NPCs, story seeds, and mini-quests to add a new level of depth to the game.
As a special bonus, Bards and Sages has added a free 10 page PDF download featuring two bonus libraries created by Mark Charke. The Quiet Library, far removed from the local town, is a mausoleum that hides a necromancer’s paradise of books stored in a rather unique method. The Stairs of Mirabal is part library, part archeological dig as scholars strive to decipher the strange scripts etched into stone stairways.
Library Lore, scheduled for January release, will be the 2nd in the Adventure Havens series. Volume I: Tavern Tales, offers 12 fantasy taverns and is already available at RPGNOW.
Visit the official Adventure Havens page to get the free download and learn more about the series.
