Free 28mm Tile Maker

I've been toying with the idea of making tile creation software to sell, but after recently stopping by One Monk Miniatures and seeing Jim giving away all of his minis, I've been inspired.

Head on over to my website where I just put up the first free tile. If people like this and want to see more I'll keep making them!

They aren't quite as pretty as my original Dungeon Tiles, but they free, and fun to play with.

I updated the tile maker with new items that you can now rotate! The scripting isn't perfected, but it's functional.

With Dundjinni in limbo theres definitely room for more detailed Battlemap Generators. You could actually make more money creating pre-made whole maps and selling em on drivethrurpg.com. Some guys get $4.00 to $12.00 per map set depending on how much is included in the map pack.

In my opinion, I think that if you make a nice simple Battle Map generating program in downloadable offline form you can make some really good money.

A couple different genre's of battlemap.......for example, Fantasy, sci-Fi, Modern, Skirmish. Posibilities are endless if you know how to package the product. Besides that, down the road you can sell extra add-on map packs for a nominal fee.

Yeah, I have a whole line of maps I created when I worked with with Empty Room Studios Publishing. They're all for sale on RPGNow, and I make a little extra money off of them.

Maybe down the line I'll make a program that won't be free, but for now enjoy this one!

Did a quick update last night. There's now a loading screen so you have an exciting loading bar to watch, and I fixed a couple of bugs with the objects.

BTW, if anyone has a tablet/iPad that can run Flash I'd love to get some feedback on how it works with that.

Very cool! Could use a couple of standard hallway tiles (straight, corner, curve, etc.), when you get the chance, if you so desire and by your leave and such.
