Free 3.5 PC/NPC generator?

Is there a free 3.5 PC/NPC/Monster generator that uses (at least) the whole revised SRD?

(I know PC Gen is working on one but I could use one *now*) :)

While an interesting generator, it doesn't cite permission from WotC to distribute IP (from the splat books) or doesn't utilize the OGL to use the SRD, and then also fails because it uses WotC closed-content mateial. If they have permission to use the closed-content, great.

Since it doesn't use the OGL license everything falls under copyright law and this _may_ be a legitimate use.

But they're distributing some of WotC's IP with this spreadsheet. IANAL, but its my understanding that you're allowed to do something like this for yoursefl, but you can't just distribute it wholesale.

The amount of info in the spreadsheet(from a cursory look) is about the amount of info for referencing a book. This is legal.

Now if the sheet used the OGL _and_ referenced material from splatbooks then their would definantly be a problem because the section 7 forbids this.

There would also be a problem if the person claimed to have permission from WOTC but in fact did not. But I don't see any claim.

That being said. The sheet is outside the safe harbor of the OGL. Thus WOTC could seek punitive damages against the author if they felt it included more information than a reference, which IMO it doesn't.

I wouldn't get too attached, if this is the same Heroforge that was out with 3.0 then it was shut down once with a cease and desist I think... or at least the hosting website was.
