You can do past days, but have to wait do days until their date has arrived.

I can only see three days, including the current one, that are playable.

Any idea what the bar that says "3/12 games played" unlocks when fully done?

No, not really, but the idea is you visit it daily and play the match game every day till it's done.

I just went there today and was able to do 6 of the 12 days (all days up to today) ... some people may think there are more than 12 total days as most of these calndars have 24 or 25.
