It's a solid set of rules in its own right.I'd say it's a great time to be a fan of superhero RPGs (as well as d20). We've gone from almost nothing in the genre to a true embarassment of riches. Personally, I'm looking forward to just about every new superhero product coming out this year, including Wild Talents, the new edition of Champions (and Champions Universe), Silver Age Sentinels (I got my copies at Origins), and, of course, Mutants & Masterminds (and it's Freedom City sourcebook, which you can use with whatever superhero RPG you favor).
