The king has always been sickly; his imminent death has been yearly predicted. After 27 years on the throne, the aged king continues to baffle his subjects simply by getting up each morning. He has never married, leaving the succession unclear. Kaldor is ripe with adventure possibilities.</p><p></p><p><strong>3) Alienage District Map</strong></p><p></p><p>This free RPG resource is a complete 28" × 20" map of the Alienage, the foreigners' quarter of the City of Cherafir. Descriptions of the locations on this map can be found in the complete Cherafir article. The PDF is layered so you can turn off elements such as location numbers or guard locations. The capital city and principal port of the Kingdom of Melderyn, Cherafir is known as the "Mages' City" and is seen by many as prone to strange happenings and inhabited by weird entities.</p><p></p><p><strong>4) Grave-Wights, a monster with a Medieval twist</strong></p><p></p><p>Grave-Wights is a 4pp article in the Harnmaster Bestiary format, with general information about these loathsome creatures, brief descriptions of two possibly related species, and then a full page on each the male and the female (which have different abilities). The Grave-wights are designed to provide a lot of spook-ability, accompanied by enough muscle to make the danger real. Surviving the fight may not be enough to save the brave character who drives these monsters from the local graveyard. </p><p></p><p><strong>5) City of Coranan Player Map - a great hand-out for your players!</strong></p><p></p><p>This free PDF is an 11"×17" version of the player map for the City of Coranan. Coranan is Hârn's largest city and capital of the Thardic Republic and the most important economic center of the fertile Thard River valley. It is the terminus of the Salt Route, the main trade route with eastern Hârn, and sits astride the road and river links between the cities of Golotha, Shiran, and Aleath. With the exception of Cherafir, Coranan is the most cosmopolitan settlement on Hârn. The city's palaces and other major buildings are the legacies of the once-powerful Corani Empire.</p><p></p><p><strong>6) Shiran's Pemasani Aerna Map - What is better than one great player handout??? ANOTHER one of them!</strong></p><p></p><p>This free RPG resource is a complete 11" × 11" map of the Pamesani Arena in the City of Shiran. Descriptions of the locations on this map can be found in the City of Shiran article. The Pamesani Games are wildly popular events held in honor of Agrik, the dark god of war and violence. In addition to contests between gladiators, individually and in teams, the games offer combats involving wild beasts, judicial duels, and spectacles of a depraved and perverse nature. The arena and games are administered by the clerics of the Order of the Octagonal Pit and their sponsored fighting order, the Order of Demon Pameshlu the Insatiable.
