Last year when I ran one of these I ran the year before offering and made up more for the adventure, I just didn't have time this year. Also I think there are things missing from the FreeRPG Day adventure that I think is needed, like how to use the road maps. No real explanation at all. A couple folks mentioned the board game and thought the road combat would include more elements. Note we did have a great time with the adventure. It was very mad-max. I am looking forward to seeing the release of the game.The Monty Python adventure was a complete blast. The table often erupted in laughter so much the manager came to "check in on us". Hilariously the role I played as the GM got fired!!! Love love the adventure and the rules shined. I needed the whole core book however. Go get the online tools for this, you'll hank me later. I did get the PDF when it was on a huge discount and bought the core book today at the store.I ran my own adventure for the Basic Roleplaying book. I think this is one of the best summaries of BRP I've seen. Very good. It's worth getting for that alone. I wasn't impressed with the three adventures included, they are not bad, just very brief and kinda lacluster. At least one player walked out with a brand new copy of the core book.I ended up picking up a few other entries, the store had some things from last year, I picked up the Castle Whiterock adventure from Goodman Games. It looks like fun!</blockquote>
