Heeroic Studios Gaming released a quickstart for their new system Fast Action Hero, a roll-under d20 system designed to emulate the over-the-top action of the Golden Age of Action Movies from the 1980s and 1990s.

If you’d like to recreate the PvP fun of battel royale video games in your D&D campaigns, Azaruuk’s Ultimate Battle Royale is a combination adventure, one-shot, and optional rules framework that locks several characters in a dungeon with only one allowed to survive to the end. DC Spelljammer HIPS: Hiding In Plain Sight from Martin Blume is an adventure for Tier 2 Characters designed for APL 8 where the party finds a notice in Waterdeep’s spaceport advertising a monster hunt in Wildspace. There’s already a veteran on board so what could possibly go wrong?

In the 2nd level adventure Tyrratizzi’s Prison from H.W.L. Kabocha where the party assists a local bullywug shaman who seeks to cleanse a recently unearthed temple in the swamp.

If you’re looking for a variation on meeting in a tavern, DMDylan released Opening Night at the Underground Tavern as a drop-in encounter where the PCs are invited to the exclusive opening night at an underground tavern where the party gets interrupted by a group of duergar who accidentally reach the surface in the middle of the bar.

Azzy Homebrew is still on the quest to convert the magic items from previous editions to 5e with Artifacts of Antiquity Volume 5. Doesn’t matter how specific, how silly, or how overpowered, this project seeks to update all the over 6000 entries in the Encyclopedia Magica with about 100 entries at a time.

Both a part of classic fiction and folklore as well as an iconic part of spellcasting classes, familiars don’t feel as unique and interesting as it seems they should. What’s a dwarf’s favorite thing besides mining? Beer! And Maciej Wolowiec’s Brewmaster’s Compendium adds optional rules for your game for dwarven ales and lagers including finding the proper ingredients, different magical and non-magical items, new potion-like effects from drinking brews, and more.
