I'd recommend focusing on those at first, if you're looking to make Fantasy themed maps. DD will let you design encounter level maps (& not just those in dungeons), while CC will allow you to build overland maps such as those depicting a continent, large country or specific region. And as would be expected, CD lets you create city maps. If you also want to make SciFi themed maps, then Cosmographer is going to be worth focusing on too. Apps like Character Artist, Fractal Terrain and Perspectives are nice to have, but even for someone like me who's been using the core for years,  aren't nearly as useful.There's for sure a learning curve to becoming competent with CC, but IMO definitely worth the effort. The bundle includes the Tome of Mapping which is a terrific source for learning. I bought the humble bundle too, but mostly for the annuals, a few of which I've bought individually in the past.
