TogaMario
First Post
Hello all,
About a year ago (or more) I had started developing a free RPG mapper for my personal use that I made available to the public. I decided to continue development of it, but take it in another direction. Below is the link to the old version, and details about the future
http://www.togamario.com/zip/FreeCountry.zip
Requires: .Net 2.0 Framework and newest full DirectX installation from Microsoft's site. Both links are in the html help files accompanying the program. If the links are still valid ...
Here's an image that I had created with it:

Changes that I will be making across the next few weeks / months:
Foundational change from Raster to Vector based art.
Changes to how the tools work and the files are saved because of that foundation change.
New interface with better layout and tile previews in the tile listing.
Easier custom content management.
Hex grid support.
A free generic tile set to accompany it.
Support for much larger maps (not limited by your graphics card.)
Layering.
Blend maps between layers (to make dirt paths on grassy planes, rocky patches in forested floors, etc)
If anyone has anymore suggestions, I'd love to hear them!
Thanks,
-Tyler
