Freeport OGC?

I remember reading that the original freeport trilogy was 100% OGC.

I own the revised trilogy and it has a declaration of "All proper and places names, with the exception of Yig and The Yellow Sign, are declared as Product Identity. All other text past the Introduction is declared Open Game Content."

So according to this the names of Freeport and its historical leaders and NPCs are not OGC in the revised book.

I also have the Pirate's Guide to Freeport and Cults of Freeport but those are not released under the OGL.

I know Freeport was placed in Arcanis and Hunt the Rise of Evil, but I don't have either of those and don't know if it was under a separate agreement or under the OGL.

Were the names OGC in the original modules? In the original Freeport city book? Anybody have them?

Freeport itself is OGC. The names of the NPCs, deities and such are not.

The deities are PI? They made the unnamed generic "God of Knowledge" and "God of the Sea" PI? That's pretty funny.

There are some diety names; but they're in other products, not the Freeport core book. Cults of Freeport and Black Sails Over Freeport has PI diety names, IIRC.

Not Cults. It is a statless book not released under the OGL. The named gods in there are neither OGC or PI.
