I got my copy of Freeport in the mail yesterday! So far I am very, very impressed.. I'll post more as I read more.

I will say one thing, the cartography and artwork is top notch.

PLEASE MORE INFO!!

MORE MORE MORE!!! Feats? Skills? Prestige Classes?
Im really looking foward to this city setting and would love to hear whatever you have to tell about it.
How is the art in the book?
Thanks!

That means it'll be in stores soon...

Ah, my FLGS owner will get tired of hearing from me next week...8)

And my players will worry when I begin reading the book and cackling.

Ahhhh, Freeport!

*sighs heavily*

For some strange reason I just love that town.

It's something in the air...or maybe water....

I've been reading some more today, and have really enjoyed it. The fonts make for an easy read, and the material is written in a manner that keeps you hooked. The Full Color map in the back is just plain gorgeous, and IMO I haven't seen a WotC map to rival it.

Their are a few new feats... one lets you be a descendant of Sea Lord Drac while another lets you be a descendant of Francisco. Their is also Skill Finesse, which allows you to use a use an alternate ability score on certain skills...

I've also read some background on the islands where Freeport is found and tons of information including NPCs, Feats, Magic Items, and a ton of very neat Firearms.

I'll post more as I read more.

Ah Freeport...A city that I would have enjoyed using...IF my PCs would follow a freaking STORYLINE! :( But even so, Freeport IS a great little port city. Think the Blossoming Sea might get it whenever I get a chance to run some SL stuff...

I got around to reading some more last night and I'm even more impressed with this book. The history of Freeport was especially enjoyable and worked to set an excellent stage for the adventures and current state of the city.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to include it in my Forgotten Realms game or create a unique world around it using Freeport's history as a reference.
