Ok, yes, I'm excited. As will be posted in the ENWorld news column soon enough, PCProfiler has been released. I've been wanting something like it for quite some time, so, two or three months ago, I set off to make it myself. And now it's done.

What is it? Its an electronic character sheet program. I wasn't setting out to design a generator, there are plenty good ones already out. I wanted more of a record keeping program. That in itself though, is of limited use: what if you design a character sheet that is missing key features that someone else uses all the time? Or what if you want to make a character sheet for YeFavoriteGamingSystem?
No problem! I've based PCProfiler not off any hard-coded character sheets or gaming system definitions, but rather off templates. PCProfiler makes no assumptions or restrictions about what a character sheet must look like or the data it must contain. You can make your own templates, edit the existing ones, or simply download other templates that other people have made!
The program is released with a 3ED&D character sheet, as well as a spell sheet. There's no reason though, that the program be restricted to D&D, or even d20 games. There's no reason the program be restricted to only character sheets! You can design a template to hold any game data you want in electronic format.
Have fun, I hope you all like it.
