[QUOTE="Aztectroll, post: 1794200, member: 24917"] if you're looking for a pro player, than i'm not your man. You can stop reading here.... Seriously, stop reading... go away already, i'm not what you're looking for. Fine, read on, maybe comic relief for your deprived entertainment hour. many years ago (8?) 2 friends bought the books to 2.0 for AD&D, and so we staired at the pages, frustrated that we didn't know how to read. So after having people read it to us, we attempted to play a few sessions. Tried a few other games too (Vampire, Mage, Pixie, Ghost...) DnD seemed more appealing, but we never got it rolling. (lack of support, financially the DM broke all our chairs, got too costly... fat ass...) I'm interested in trying to reassociate myself to the game, but my resources are limited to a monster manual, room mate may have others but it be 2.0. If anyones interested in having a new player that knows little about the game, but willing to learn, i'd be more than interested in hearing from people. I'm 20, male, living in texas as of now (Previously Pennsylvania). Tried this once before, but DM faded out? Missing In Action: July 2004. Suspect: Sylvester Stalone movies I've had character ideas, and i'll run all one (1) of them acrost. -Human, monk. -Alignment: I'll be more or less morally good. A wild card, maybe. -I chose a monk as a basis of style. Morally, i'm not going to walk down the street with a sword killing mail men or dogs because they looked at me wrong and expect sweet loot, why would I do it in a game? And why would that mail man and dog both be equiped with duel wielding scimitars and giant axes?? I want my character to be an unarmed combatant, and if it gets a little out of control he'll maybe have a knife or two to help when it's more for a life situation. So again, seeing myself walking around with a sluggiest suit doesn't seem reasonable for Me. Protect the dog, give it a helmet... Again, I basicly only know 2.0, if there's another kit that fits as a better description than a monk, i'm willing to be flexible. My decisions are basicly decided on what I would probably do.
