As for what happened
The players encountered him in there quest to stop a Hag that has been kidnapping children of the country.
He leaps out of his tree house with nothing more than a loin cloth and a rusty dagger demanding the party to pay tribute to him and he will allow then to walk through his woods.
they laught move in and do nothing to him, he laughs and says now......
they run he follows
they run more
he follows more
(It was like "Better off Dead" with the paper boy.....2 dollars!)
Finally they defeated him by paying him.....5 gold
he was happy said thanks
and ran home.
*What the party does not know is that his tree housed a treasure hoard that rivaled most dragons...
Oh well there loss.
