Message: <blockquote data-quote="Dannyalcatraz" data-source="post: 9891737" data-attributes="member: 19675">TBH, I’ve probably come up with more unusual PCs than NPCs, but I still have some notable ones, like:1) in my Champions:1900 supers campaign, the “Iron Man” homage using a boiler-powered hydraulic armored suit with twin flamethrowers got audible gasps.1a) same campaign world (using M&M instead of HERO) but set 14 years later: an unethical mad scientist had “uplifted” Dr. Zeus, an evil super genius orangutan (with his enlarged brain visible beneath a glassy dome) who had weaponized Nicola Tesla’s discoveries.2) in a major city in a D&D game, the underworld duo of a beholder crime lord and its albino Drow enforcer; “Pinky & The Brain”3) The Green Council: a grove of Awakened old growth trees, the first created of whom was an aspen whose being consisted of hundreds of trunks over thousands of acres.  4) a brain damaged Lich.  He’d created & completed the ritual, but by the time he succeeded, he already had dementia.  While he labored with the tirelessness of the undead at creating “dark, new spells” (like Magic Missile), he’d been propped up as the ruler of a dark and expanding empire by a group of his former underlings.  Defeating the Lich was pathetically easy and almost sad; and it took the party a bit to realize they hadn’t actually achieved the objective of overthrowing the evil empire.</blockquote>
