Agent Dunham, still recovering from her traumatic visit to the alternate reality, is given a concoction by Walter to help her remember. Another woman being experimented on by Walter is introduced. Meanwhile the Fringe team look into a series of robberies that are linked to shapeshifting.
I really liked seeing Olivia down the mixture of flatworms Walter instructed Astrid to prepare, she's one tough woman! Her unflinching resolve is appealing. Some have written that they find Anna Torv's acting to be wooden, but I personally believe that she does a great job portraying a stoic, determined individual.
was amusing considering what we (the audience) can already deduce from last season's not-so-subtle-hint on his background.
When Bell was telling Olivia to stand up as they said good bye I couldn't help but notice the
window
and think oh crap, is he really about to do that? sure enough ...
I think it was nicely done all around.
For some reason I have more fun following this show than I did with XFiles (xfiles was either -too much- freak of the week or -too much- deep dark conspiracy; it stayed at the extremes and never really did episodes that were 'inbetween' -- anyway, not trying to get off topic of fringe, just my opinion and i couldn't help but think about that as i saw this episode.. we now return you to our fringe discussion )
