Fringer: Ultimate Defense against the Dark Side!!

I thought this was an interesting quirk of the system, not bad necessarily, but funny. The fringer savant talent gives you a force point when gaining a natural 20 on a skill check, but it must be used during the encounter.

Dark Side points can be taken out with a swift action and the use of a force point. So I use force lightning, gaining a dark side point. I then quickly find a tight rope, and in the most literal sense, recover my "balance" in the force:)

What if you jump on the tightrope to get to a better position to Force Lightning a basketful of babies?

Actually, this might be a fun character to play if you do things the other-way round:

Whenever your fringer gains a nat 20 and force point, he does something to gain a dark side point then uses the force point he just gained to wipe it out.

You could roleplay it as a semi-sane guy who occasionally succumbs to random evil temptations but feels bad about it and atones almost immediately afterward.
