Front Range Warlock
Longtime Frostgrave player, but today I'm here posting about RPGs. More specifically, using Frosgrave as a RPG.
Now, the earliest editions of D&D didn't have explicit rules for non-combat action resolution, so using Frostgrave in that capacity should theoretically be possible.
I know there are some things elsewhere on the Internet about this, but the engagement on things like blog posts is pretty one-sided. There's also a bunch of "Try Rangers of Shadow Deep" (which I own, but that's not what I'm pursuing).
So... has anybody here implemented a more RPG-ish Frostgrave at their table? Specifically with collaborative play versus threats controlled by a single player/referee?
