Thanks hype, Can a fighter take this feat and use a glaive in one hand, or a lance in one hand, that they normaly could could use as as a two handed weapon? If so, i can see this as a pritty good feat, if only to allow someone to be versital. basicly allowing a lancer charicter use a towershield with the lance in one hand (albeat not mounted). so if your getting creamed, whip out a towershield and go one handed without wasting rounds, or having to use your weaker less magiked up weapon. Frankthedm, i would have differ. monky grip has its place, (if it works the way i think it does, now)… but it has nothing to do with holding a weapon in two hands, and thus doesn’t mean much to the argument about how two handed exotic weapon one size category larger should be dealt with. I don’t think making a feat that is equal to power attack as "keeping up". any other feat not as powerful as power attack wont be used and thus is a wast of paper. The sad part is that a feat so basic as power attacking being the end all and be all of broken thus nothing should be equal to it is kindof silly. Its not a broken feat because its the primary damage dealing feat. Things should be balanced by it because it shows how powerful a feat is aloud to be. Thus a fullbade in turn is not broken. Is a spiked chain better then a fullblade? a spiked chain is also shows what can be had with a exotic weapon prof feat. what about a court blade? A full-blade is balanced with all these things. At times conservative feats are published, but if we always made feats at the low end, we would have more feats like skill focus. Those feats bug me. I tend to go for the feats that give me more use of a skill rather then a +2 to that skill.
