Fun (pc)games for a LAN party?

So me and some friends of mine are probably going to have our small half-yearly LAN party again in december. Last time wasn't as much fun as before, because we're getting kinda bored with the games. I was wondering if you guys would have any tips for obscure but fun games for a lanparty? To give an example: Supreme Snowboarding, I'd never heard of it before but it was easy to learn and fun for LAN.
The games we'll probably be playing:
Battlefield 1942/Vietnam
Call of Duty/Expansion
Warcraft III
Starcraft
Unreal Tournament
Tron 2.0
Supreme Snowboarding
Ultimate Racing Pro
Perhaps some Diablo II
Any tips?
Diablo II gets old real fast at a LAN party. I'd avoid that. Other than that, your list looks great. Expect Starcraft and UT2K4 to be the runaway hits.

Out of nostalgia, I'll second Queen Doppelpopolis's suggestion of Half-Life, but refine the suggestion to include Team Fortress!

Thanks for the replies!

I'm definitely going try your suggestions. BF & UT modpacks are good idea! Battlefront sounds cool, and we've heard of Halo but never thought about it for LAN for some reason. Time to add it! Tribes looks awesome, gotta try out the demo. Half-life and C&C I forgot to add to original list, that's going to be played for sure :). And Atomic Bomberman rules, but I doubt we'll get it to work in a win2000/xp dominated lan ;)

You can't go wrong with HALO; that's been my favorite LAN party game for over a year now. Grab some friends, start up a Capture the Flag server, and prepare to get addicted.

I'm a big fan of SW: Galactic Battlegrounds; it's Age of Empires with TIE fighters. Loads of fun, and I get to have stars, binaries, and galaxies of mechs running around (sorry, play Trade Federation, and I refer to my units using Battletech terminology).

No bands of Ewoks to slay, but you can fight a nigh-invincible one if you know the cheat.
