Shimrod the Clever, Earl of Coalchester, human paragon 3/wizard 5/loremaster 6, my current character in Age of Worms. Pretty much your default generalist wizard, with human paragon thrown in for some skill versatility because I was going for a truly Vancian wizard, who was as arcane and annoying with his tongue as with his spells. I took diplomacy as my always-class skill, got the synergies from bluff, sense motive and nobility & royalty, so I'm the party diplomat, despite Cha 8. Loremaster has perform, so I'm also working on my perform (oratory). Shaping up to be one of my favourite characters of all time. Gwyn, a paladin 9(?). This was in 2E, so there isn't much to say in terms of "build". He had the poetry nonweapon proficiency, and a nic'Epona mount called Fionna. Nic'Epona are totally badass magical, flying, can-only-be-hit-by-+2-weapons color-changing horses from Planescape. Mine was a toned down version: she could fly and change color. Man, I loved her. :) Daidoji Renshi, a samurai 2/fighter 4/iaijutsu master 6, with Leadership and his sister Rei, an Asahina-trained shugenja as a cohort. He followed her into exile after it was discovered she was making magic weapons (Asahina shugenja aren't allowed to), and they ended up in FR. I'm not much of one for crossovers, but I really wanted to play an iaijutsu master. He had great initiative and did great damage with iaijutsu focus, but crap damage otherwise. I didn't even have the Str 13 for Power Attack. Ah, the innocence of early characters. :o A monk 3/fighter 10 with no name, written up for a return to the City of the Spider Queen, after a bitter TPK. He had a guisarme (that's the tripping one), Whirlwind Attack, Improved Trip, Elusive Target, Defensive Throw, Karmic Strike... Approach, get tripped. Attack and hit, get tripped. Attack and miss, get tripped. He moves away, take an AoO, get tripped. Very annoying.
