Funny D&D blog

Callowbran

First Post
Hi, old time player & onetime poster to this site (c.2001).

I'm back due to my excitement over 4 edition.

But more from me later.

A buddy of mine wrote some blog entries last year about D&D -- I enjoyed them but never got around to posting a link to them.

Read these for laughs but beware: there is (American) political satire involved.

A buddy of mine has this problem... It's not me of course... no no... this buddy of mine... he knew this other guy who wrote a blog... and this budy of mine read it... and he really liked it... I mean I wouldn't like that kind of thing... but this friend of mine thought it was really good...

That's all...

I just thought you should know...

That link should have a warning that non-grandma friendly subject matter lies beyond it.

Profanity and politics, for those interested.

I'm befuddled by the response so far to my original post. One guy liked the blog -- I get that. I liked it, too. One guy made some sort of weird, possibly sarcastic, reply that implied that he didn't find the blog funny (I get the not finding it funny but not the need for sarcasm), and someone else thought his grandma's standards are universal and ought to have some sort of trump power over what gets linked to on this site.

Lets clear this up: I like the blog I linked to. I hope you like it to. If you or your grandma don't like it, here's a link to a site that you might like better. I don't find it funny, but perhaps you will:

Callowbran, the grandma that was previously mentioned is a feature of ENWorld. Take a peek at the site rules, and it'll all become clear. :)

Ah...thanks for the clarification, Blarg. I got respect for the virtual grandma's that help keep the web friendly & civil.
