Starship Cartographer
This small, PL-7 outpost is used as a base of operation by ConFed Security - the law enforcement officers of the space lanes. Whether the characters are just visiting (voluntarily or not), or looking for a place to call their own, this station can fit the bill. It comes complete with d20 stats for ship and crew and also includes miniature-scale maps in full color and printer-friendly versions.

Looks like it would also make a keen orbital satellite HQ for, say, a superhero team or master villain in a game like Mutants & Masterminds, were one so inclined... ;)

I'm glad that you like it. Though I'm working under the auspices of BlackWyrm Games, I do 100% of the Future Armda production myself. The models are done in 3DSMAX and the maps in Photoshop.

There are exterior shots of all the ships on my website:

Cool stuff. How difficult is 3Ds MAX to learn for someone with basic expierence with digital rendering? I'm using DOGA now (see sig), and while a good program, it is somewhat limited.

I haven't used Doga but I would guess that 3DS MAX is pretty much the same thing with more options and heavier system requirements. I don't think MAX would be all that hard to learn as you really only use a small percentage of the features on any given project. Once you can build one starship, it's easy enough to build more. Now if you were going to add animations and all that the learning curve could get pretty steep. The main obstacle, I think, is the price. If you don't get a copy via job or school, it's expensive!
