I'm back from my two week bike trip across 1000km of Japan, which means that soon I'll be back to my twice a week Fuzzy Knight schedual. In the meantime, what do you think of the Opening Ceremonies? Does the music add to the feel or take away from it? And in other Fuzzy Knight news... they're planning to release a collection of the online strips in print format! WOO HOO!! My editor posted the following details: --- Yes, it's true. There is a Fuzzy Knights Collection is scheduled for December, and I'm going to be in charge of content. Here's the lowdown: -64 pages, B+W, 9.95, standard comic size. We can't print it in color at this price point. -Right now it's planned to collect Fuzzy Episodes 1-25 (from the web), plus 4-8 pages of all new material by Noah. There will probably be 8 panels per page. -Would have an introduction and commentary on many of the strips by Noah. However, there are two things that still may hamper the producion: 1) We need to generate enough interest to insure we break even on the book. If pre-orders come in below a certain threshold, we can't print it for economic reasons. We need everyone out there who loves FK to support it! Bug your local comic/game store about ordering it (from now til Nov. 1st), or pre-order yourself from one of the many online comic shops that has pre-orders, which influences their overall pre-orders (as well as yours counting). I should know, I used to be in charge of pre-orders for www.g-mart.com, now the second largest shop in Illinois. It does influence them. 2) Many of the early strips taken with the bad camera are of quite poor visual quality. So bad that it may be not worth it to print them, if they come out illegible. This is being worked on, but if nothing can be done at all, we may have to start with later strips, or rehtink putting it out right now. So that's the lowdown. I love Fuzzy Knights and am committed to seeing this book come out. I hope you are too! -Eric Engelhard Web/HMA Manager, Fuzzy Knights Editor
